First of all, take in mind this is a 16-quart cooker: huge. My husband keeps on making fun of how I am going to cook for all the neighborhood, but it has to be that big if you want to prepare food for a lot of people or to freeze it and have healthy "fast-food".
Second, it is not said on the description but it is on the box: NOT for ceramic or induction stoves.
Then, even though the aluminium does not look very good, the safety features seem outstanding. Three or four different ways to prevent an accident working at the same time. And the accident will not happen if you follow the main rule for this kind of cookware: do not open if there is steam coming out. So this cooker is nosy-husband-safe! It has a manual explaining everything.
It also includes three overpressure release valves with different weights to choose depending on how full is the cooker.
So, 1 star down for the cheap looking aluminium and another because it cannot be used on ceramic or induction and that is not even said in the description.
